died in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama, on December 21, 1929. He is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Eufaula, Alabama.

Willoughbee Craft was 18 years old when his unit, Company C, was formed.
He survived the war and lived to be 81 years old.
He spent his last years with his
daughter (Nora Craft Foster) in Laurel, Mississippi. His grandson, Royce Foster,
stated, "grandpaw Willie had a cane and he would catch us by the leg with it and
give us stick candy."
Craft is buried next to his wife Melissa Maragrett (Mitchell) Craft in the Leroy Baptist Church Cemetery in Leroy, Alabama.
