This musket is believed to have belonged to Pvt. Joseph H. Cook of Company B. It was found in northwest Georgia leaning against a tree. It is a 1816 Springfield .69 caliber rifle loaded with two charges.

The upper left photo shows the name J. H. Cook engraved in the wood. Barely visible in the second left photo are the two letters "C" and "B" which represent Company B.

The third and fourth photos are a full view of the musket and a view showing the manufacturer's name.
